### 1. Overview
At ChopShift, we believe in fair, clear, and transparent pricing. We do not trap customers with hidden fees or restrictive cancellation rules. This policy outlines how refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes are handled for both Restaurant Software Subscriptions and Guest Dining Orders.

### 2. Restaurant Software Subscriptions (SaaS)

#### A. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are a new restaurant operator subscribing to a paid ChopShift plan for the first time, you are covered by our 14-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. If ChopShift does not fit your operational workflow, email billing@chopshift.com within 14 days of your initial payment for a 100% refund.

#### B. Subscription Renewal & Cancellation
You can cancel or change subscription tiers at any time directly from Workspace Settings → Billing. Cancellations take effect at the conclusion of the paid billing cycle without penalties or clawback fees.

### 3. Guest Dining & Food Orders
Because restaurant orders involve freshly prepared, perishable food items, order cancellations and refunds are subject to kitchen preparation status:
1. **Before Kitchen Preparation:** Full refund if cancelled before kitchen preparation starts.
2. **Item Unavailable / Out of Stock:** Immediate refund if an ingredient or dish is out of stock.
3. **Quality or Fulfillment Issues:** Duty manager can trigger an electronic refund through their ChopShift manager terminal.
4. **Card & Bank Transfer Refunds:** Processed through Paystack or Flutterwave directly to the originating account within 2–5 business days.
